Thanks for the Speed Rope, guys! It helps me achieve a great heart pumping workout during a short period of time. I like its big and soft handles. When jumping for a long period of time such handles do not make my hands and wrist sore. About the type of rope: it is light but heavy enough to keep the round arc shape when I'm spinning it. Also, i was pleased with possibility to choose my personal length as i'm quite tall. This is good so as I don't receive a loud smack on the back of my head. :)

This rope is probably made for a beginner to intermediate. But this is everything that I'm looking for in a jump rope now. I've used many types of jump ropes in the past, and had some problems with them: breaking soon, too short length, too much wind resistance, etc. But the Fitness-Mad Speed Rope has brought none of those problems to me. When I was a teenager, our neighbors' son had quite the same rope and I remember now that I borrowed it from him consistently. At last I decided to purchase my own, and I'm very happy.
